What is Capella University?
Capella is an accredited online university dedicated to providing an exceptional, professionally aligned education that puts you in the best position to succeed in your field. At Capella, you’ll join a vibrant community of professionals and work with a faculty of experienced and engaging instructors through an online campus and course rooms. Classes and programs are designed to meet standards established by professional associations and accrediting bodies — so you gain skills and knowledge that are immediately applicable to your career goals.
What benefits will this partnership offer?
Avon Representatives who are active and in good standing are eligible for the following benefits through Capella University:
10% tuition reduction on all courses
$8,000 grant on all Capella bachelor’s degree programs for Representatives and immediate family members (excluding FlexPath and RN-to-BSN structured program). $3,000 New Alliance Grant for all Capella graduate programs for Representatives and immediate family members (excluding FlexPath and certificates).
4 full-tuition FlexPath program scholarships (Business, IT, Psychology; excluding Nursing) in 2016.*
2 full-tuition structured program scholarships (excluding Doctoral) in 2016.**
Up to 500 free courses through Sophia Learning (see more under “Degree Program Alternatives”).
o Up to 150 free courses per quarter, 2 maximum per Representative.
o Special rate of $249 per course on additional Sophia Learning courses that may directly transfer into Capella undergraduate program.
o Opportunity to complete 1 year of college work online for as low as $3,250. Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) (please review pages 4-5 for more info on PLA)evaluation benefits.
